  1  1    Amend House File 2424 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 14, by inserting before line 16 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec. ___.  DISPLACED DEPARTMENTAL EMPLOYEES.
  1  5 State department of transportation employees, who are
  1  6 members of a collective bargaining unit and who are
  1  7 displaced as a result of the implementation of this
  1  8 Act, shall be covered by and dealt with according to
  1  9 the provisions of the applicable collective bargaining
  1 10 agreement relating to contracting, subcontracting,
  1 11 outsourcing, privatization, and layoffs."
  1 12    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
