Huser of Polk offered the following amendment H-8216, to the Senate amendment H-8119, filed by her from the floor and moved its adoption: H-8216 1 Amend the Senate amendment, H-8119, to House File 2 299, as amended, passed, and reprinted by the House, 3 as follows: 4 1. Page 8, line 41, by inserting after the words 5 "prospective employees." the following: 6 "The written policy shall provide that in order to 7 conduct drug or alcohol testing under this section of 8 an employee who is under eighteen years of age, the 9 employer shall, prior to employment of the employee, 10 provide written notification, by certified mail, 11 return receipt requested, to the employee's parent or 12 grandparent concerning the employer's drug or alcohol 13 testing policy pursuant to this section. For purposes 14 of this paragraph, "parent" means one parent or a 15 legal guardian or custodian of the employee."
