  of order.

  Senator Rife asked and received unanimous consent that action on
  the following motion to reconsider filed by him from the floor be
  deferred:

  MADAM PRESIDENT: I move to reconsider the vote by which amendment S-3534
  to Senate File 500 failed to be adopted by the Senate on April 16, 1997.
