  CONSIDERATION OF BILLS
  (Regular Calendar)

  House File 692

  On motion of Senator Gettings, House File 692, a bill for an act
  relating to the criteria for issuance of handicapped special plates and
  making a civil penalty applicable, with report of committee
  recommending amendment and passage, was taken up for
  consideration.

  Senator Gettings offered amendment S-3359 filed by the
  committee on Transportation on April 3, 1997, to pages 3 and 4 of the
  bill and moved its adoption.

  Amendment S-3359 was adopted by a voice vote.

  Senator Gettings moved that the bill be read the last time now and
  placed upon its passage, which motion prevailed by a voice vote, and
  the bill was read the last time.

  On the question "Shall the bill pass?" (H.F. 692) the vote was:
