  Amendment S-3244 was adopted.

  Senator Hansen offered amendment S-3245 filed by Senators
  Hansen, Fraise and Vilsack from the floor to page 14 and the title
  page of the bill.

  Senator McKibben raised the point of order that amendment S-
  3245 was not germane to the bill.

  The Chair ruled the point well taken and amendment S-3245 out
  of order.

  Senator Hammond offered amendment S-3269 filed by Senators
  Hammond and Dvorsky from the floor to page 5 and the title page of
  the bill.

  Senator McKibben raised the point of order that amendment S-
  3269 was not germane to the bill.

  The Chair ruled the point not well taken and amendment S-3269
  in order.

  LEAVE OF ABSENCE

  Leave of absence was granted as follows:

  Senator Drake for the remainder of the day on request of Senator Jensen.

  BUSINESS PENDING

  Senate File 503

  The Senate resumed consideration of Senate File 503.

  Senator Hammond moved the adoption of amendment S-3269.

  A record roll call was requested.
