  *Pursuant to Senate Rule 40, the Legislative Service Bureau reported
  nonsubstantive changes to the members of the State Government Committee on
  Senate File 500 and they were attached to the committee report.

  ALSO:

  Final Bill Action: *SENATE FILE 509 (formerly Senate File 305), a bill for
  an act
  limiting the amount of contributions a candidate for office may accept from
  sources
  outside the candidate's elective district, and providing a penalty.

  Recommendation: APPROVED COMMITTEE BILL.

  Final Vote: Ayes, 10: Lind, Rittmer, Kibbie, Deluhery, Drake, Gronstal,
  Halvorson,
  King, Lundby and Rife. Nays, 2: Fink and Szymoniak. Absent or not voting, 3:
  McKibben, McLaren and Tinsman.
