  Des Moines, Iowa.

  The Journal of Tuesday, February 11, 1997, was approved.

  LEAVE OF ABSENCE

  Leave of absence was granted as follows:

  Senator McKean for the day on request of Senator Rensink.

  RECESS

  On motion of Senator Iverson, the Senate recessed at 9:15 a.m.,
  until 1:00 p.m.
