Weigel of Chickasaw asked and received unanimous consent that amendment H-1525 be deferred. Kremer of Buchanan offered the following amendment H-1364 filed by him and Nelson of Marshall and moved its adoption: H-1364 1 Amend House File 710 as follows: 2 1. Page 2, line 22, by inserting after the word 3 "handicapped." the following: "It is the intent of 4 the general assembly that the Iowa chapters of the 5 Alzheimer's association and the case management 6 program for frail elders shall collaborate and 7 cooperate fully to assist families in maintaining 8 family members with Alzheimer's disease in the 9 community for the longest period of time possible."
