H.S.B. 129  Education

Relating to children's benefits, immunizations, and school
attendance under the family investment program and providing an
effective date.

H.S.B. 130  Judiciary

Relating to the appointment of district judges in lieu of
district associate judges.

H.S.B. 131  Education

Providing for the formation of a committee by the Legislative
Council to conduct a comprehensive study of school finance and
make recommendations for a revised school aid formula.

H.S.B. 132  Ways and Means

Creating the chemical emergency preparedness fund and
establishing a fee.

H.S.B. 133  Ways and Means

Relating to taxation of the delivery and consumption of
electricity and natural gas within the state of Iowa and
providing for the Act's retroactive applicability, and providing
penalties.

MR. SPEAKER: The Chief Clerk of the House respectfully reports
that the following committee recommendations have been received

Committee Bill (Formerly House Study Bill 52), relating to
continued eligibility under the new jobs and income program
concerning the ownership of land by nonresident aliens and
certain capital investment and job creation provisions.
Fiscal Note is not required.
Committee Action: Failed to Pass February 6, 1997.
