1 1 Section 1. Section 99F.4, Code 1997, is amended by adding
1 2 the following new subsection:
1 3 NEW SUBSECTION. 22. To provide for the design and
1 4 location of a designation stamp to be affixed to each slot
1 5 machine operated in a racetrack enclosure or on an excursion
1 6 gambling boat. Each slot machine operated in a racetrack
1 7 enclosure or on an excursion gambling boat shall be identified
1 8 with a designation stamp which specifies the par sheet
1 9 percentage payout of that slot machine. The initial
1 10 designation stamp shall be affixed to each slot machine by
1 11 employees of the commission not later than July 1, 1998.
1 12 EXPLANATION
1 13 This bill requires that the state racing and gaming
1 14 commission design an identification stamp for each slot
1 15 machine operated in racetrack enclosures or on excursion
1 16 gambling boats. The stamp shall include the par sheet
1 17 percentage payout of the slot machine to which the stamp is
1 18 attached. The stamps are to be affixed to each slot machine
1 19 by employees of the commission not later than July 1, 1998.
