1 15 purpose designated:

1 17 recreational and cultural program account established

1 21 unobligated funds remaining on June 30, 2001, from the

1 30 "Sec. __. NEW SECTION. 15.321 COMMUNITY ECONOMIC
1 31 BETTERMENT RECREATIONAL AND CULTURAL PROGRAM.
1 32 The purpose of the community economic betterment
1 33 recreational and cultural program is to assist
1 34 communities in the development and creation of
1 35 multipurpose recreational and cultural facilities.
1 36 Section 15.317 shall apply to this program. The
1 37 department shall use the rating factors and criteria
1 38 in section 15.318 to develop applicable rating factors
1 39 and criteria for the program with the addition of
1 40 rating factors and criteria relating to tourism
1 41 potential and the economic impact of the facility
1 42 being considered.
1 43 Sec. __. NEW SECTION. 15.322 COMMUNITY ECONOMIC
1 44 BETTERMENT RECREATIONAL AND CULTURAL PROGRAM ACCOUNT.
1 45 1. A community economic betterment recreational
1 46 and cultural program account is established within the
1 47 strategic investment fund to be used by the department
1 48 for the community economic betterment recreational and
1 49 cultural program. The account shall consist of all
1 50 appropriations, grants, or gifts received by the
2 1 department specifically for use under section 15.321
2 2 and any moneys allocated to the community economic
2 3 betterment recreational and cultural program account
2 4 from the strategic investment fund.
2 5 2. Payments of interest, repayments of moneys
2 6 loaned under the community economic betterment
2 7 recreational and cultural program, or recaptures of
2 8 awards shall be deposited into the strategic
2 9 investment fund."""
