1 1 Amend the amendment, S-5785, to the House
1 2 amendment, S-5740, to Senate File 2381, as amended,
1 3 passed, and reprinted by the Senate as follows:
1 4 #1. Page 1, line 14, by inserting after the word
1 5 "organization" the following: "if such organization
1 6 is authorized by the local government where the site
1 7 is located, to be used".
1 8 #2. Page 1, line 20, by inserting after the word
1 9 "Iowa" the following: ", if the development of such
1 10 facility has the approval of the city council of the
1 11 city or board of supervisors of the county where the
1 12 site is located".
1 13 #3. Page 1, line 25, by inserting before the word
1 14 "infrastructure" the following: "vertical".
1 15 #4. Page 1, line 36, by inserting after the word
1 16 "award." the following: "In addition, in determining
1 17 whether the loan is forgivable, the department shall
1 18 consider whether the wages, benefits, including health
1 19 benefits, safety, and other attributes of the project,
1 20 would improve the quality of tourism and recreational
1 21 employment in the community and the extent to which
1 22 such a facility would generate additional tourism and
1 23 recreational opportunities in the state."
1 24 #5. By renumbering as necessary.
