PAG LIN 1 1 Amend Senate File 2366 as follows: 1 2 #1. Page 13, by inserting after line 16 the 1 3 following: 1 4 "Sec. ___. Section 257.1, subsection 2, unnumbered 1 5 paragraph 2, Code 1997, is amended to read as follows: 1 6 For the budget year commencing July 1,19961998, 1 7 and for each succeeding budget year the regular 1 8 program foundation base per pupil is eighty-seven and 1 9 five-tenths percent of the regular program state cost 1 10 per pupil, except that the regular program foundation 1 11 base per pupil for the portion of weighted enrollment 1 12 that is additional enrollment because of special 1 13 education isseventy-nineeighty-seven and five tenths 1 14 percent of the regular program state cost per pupil. 1 15 For the budget year commencing July 1,19911998, and 1 16 for each succeeding budget year the special education 1 17 support services foundation base isseventy-nine1 18 eighty-seven and five-tenths percent of the special 1 19 education support services state cost per pupil. The 1 20 combined foundation base is the sum of the regular 1 21 program foundation base and the special education 1 22 support services foundation base." 1 23 #2.
