1 1 Amend Senate File 2257 as follows:
1 2 #1. Page 11, by inserting after line 30 the
1 3 following:
1 4 "Sec. ___. Section 805.8, subsection 2, paragraph
1 5 k, Code Supplement 1997, is amended to read as
1 6 follows:
1 7 k. For violations by operators of school buses and
1 8 emergency vehicles, and for violations by other motor
1 9 vehicle operators when in vicinity, under sections
1 10 321.231, 321.324, and 321.372, subsections 1 and 2,
1 11 the scheduled fine is twenty-five dollars. For
1 12 violations of section 321.372, subsection 3, the
1 13 scheduled fine is one hundred dollars.
1 14 For violations by operators of school buses under
1 15 section 321.285, the scheduled fine is twenty-five
1 16 dollars. However, excessive speed by a school bus in
1 17 excess of ten miles over the limit is not a scheduled
1 18 violation."
