  1  1    Amend Senate File 540 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, by striking lines 28 through 33 and
  1  3 inserting the following:  "payable to such employee or
  1  4 dependent hereunder.  However, any person who has some
  1  5 physical defect which increases the risk of injury,
  1  6 may, subject to the approval of the industrial
  1  7 commissioner, enter into a written agreement with the
  1  8 employee's employer waiving compensation for injuries
  1  9 which may occur directly or indirectly because of such
  1 10 physical".
  1 11    #2.  Page 1, line 34, by striking the word "defect"
  1 12 and inserting the following:  "defect".
  1 13    #3.  Page 2, line 1, by inserting after the figure
  1 14 "85.64" the following:  ".  In addition, a person
  1 15 shall not be denied employment by an employer for the
  1 16 reason that the person has some physical defect or
  1 17 disability which may increase the person's risk of
  1 18 injury or may affect the amount of compensation which
  1 19 may be payable to such person under this chapter.  An
  1 20 employer who violates this section shall be guilty of
  1 21 a simple misdemeanor".
