  1  1    Amend House File 693, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the House, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 3, line 12, by inserting after the word
  1  4 "later" the following:  ", provided that when the
  1  5 claimant does not become aware of the existence of the
  1  6 minor's injuries until after the minor's sixth
  1  7 birthday, a claim shall be commenced within two years
  1  8 after the date on which the claimant knew, or through
  1  9 the use of reasonable diligence should have known, or
  1 10 received notice in writing of the existence of, the
  1 11 injury or death for which damages are sought in the
  1 12 action, but in no event shall any action be brought
  1 13 more than one year after the attainment of majority".
