  1  1    Amend House File 597, as amended, passed, and
  1  2 reprinted by the House, as follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 3, line 8, by inserting after the word
  1  4 "child." the following:  "The department shall adopt a
  1  5 procedure by which all or part of the amount of moneys
  1  6 deducted from a sanctioned family's assistance grant
  1  7 may be remitted to the family as a reward for the
  1  8 child's improved compliance with attendance
  1  9 requirements."
  1 10    #2.  Page 5, line 7, by inserting after the word
  1 11 "penalty." the following:  "The school district shall
  1 12 adopt a procedure by which all or part of the amount
  1 13 of the civil penalty paid by the child's parent,
  1 14 guardian, or custodian may be remitted to the payer as
  1 15 a reward for the child's improved compliance with
  1 16 attendance requirements."
  1 17    #3.  Page 5, line 8, by inserting after the word
  1 18 "use" the following:  "other".
