1 3 #1. Page 7, by inserting after line 12 the
1 4 following:
1 5 "4. As part of the process for determining the
1 6 form for the written notification concerning the
1 7 truancy of a child who is a member of a family
1 8 receiving family investment program assistance as
1 9 required by this Act, the departments of human
1 10 services and education shall consult with the Iowa
1 11 department of public health in developing a plan for
1 12 providing a family resource center, school-based youth
1 13 services program, or school-based health clinic in
1 14 those schools in which fifty percent or more of the
1 15 children enrolled are eligible for free or reduced
1 16 price meals under the federal National School Lunch
1 17 Act and the federal Child Nutrition Act of 1966, 42
1 18 U.S.C. } 1751-1785. The departments shall submit the
1 19 plan on or before December 15, 1997, in a report to
1 20 the governor and general assembly. The report shall
1 21 include findings, recommendations, and implementation
1 22 provisions."
