  1  5 RELATING TO THE EXEMPTION OF CERTAIN MULTIPLE EMPLOYER
  1  6    WELFARE ARRANGEMENTS FROM REGULATION BY THE INSURANCE
  1  7    DIVISION AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

  1  9 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA:
  1 10 
  1 11    Section 1.  1994 Iowa Acts, chapter 1038, section 3, as
  1 12 amended by 1995 Iowa Acts, chapter 33, section 1, 1996 Iowa
  1 13 Acts, chapter 1024, section 1, and 1997 Iowa Acts, chapter 67,
  1 14 section 2, is amended to read as follows:
  1 15    SEC. 3.  REPEAL.  This Act is repealed effective July 1,
  1 16 1998 2001.
  1 17    Sec. 2.  EFFECTIVE DATE.  This Act, being deemed of
  1 18 immediate importance, takes effect upon enactment.
