1 3 #1. Page 16, by inserting after line 21 the
1 4 following:
1 5 "Sec. ___. NEW SECTION. 15E.213 REAUTHORIZATION.
1 6 Any Iowa agricultural industry finance corporation
1 7 formed under this division shall be dissolved as
1 8 provided in chapter 490, division XIV, unless the
1 9 general assembly reauthorizes the corporation during a
1 10 session of a general assembly which convenes every
1 11 five years beginning when the 2003 Session of the
1 12 Eightieth General Assembly. If the general assembly
1 13 fails to reauthorize a corporation, the corporation
1 14 shall wind up the affairs of the corporation within
1 15 six months of the adjournment of that session of the
1 16 general assembly, as provided by rules adopted by the
1 17 department. The corporation shall provide for the
1 18 orderly liquidation of all assets, settle existing
1 19 liabilities, and transfer unobligated moneys to the
1 20 department for deposit into the road use tax fund.
1 21 This section shall not interfere with existing
1 22 contractual relationships executed by the corporation
1 23 and other parties, including eligible persons under
1 24 section 15E.210."
