  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-8616, to Senate File 2366,
  1  2 as amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate, as
  1  3 follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 13, by inserting after line 18 the
  1  5 following:
  1  6    "Sec. ___.  Section 257.1, subsection 2, unnumbered
  1  7 paragraph 3, Code 1997, is amended to read as follows:
  1  8    For the budget year years commencing July 1, 1995
  1  9 1998, and July 1, 1999, the department of management
  1 10 shall add the amount of the additional budget
  1 11 adjustment computed in section 257.14, subsection 2,
  1 12 to the combined foundation base."
  1 13    #2.  Page 14, by striking line 42 and inserting the
  1 14 following:
  1 15    "2.  For the budget year years beginning July 1,
  1 16 1995 1998, and July 1,".
  1 17    #3.  By renumbering as necessary.
