1 3 #1. Page 1, by inserting after line 9 the

1 5 "Sec. ___. Section 99E.18, subsection 4, Code
1 6 1997, is amended to read as follows:
1 7 4. A person who, with intent to defraud, falsely
1 8 makes, alters, forges, utters, passes, redeems, or
1 9 counterfeits a lottery ticket or share or attempts to
1 10 falsely make, alter, forge, utter, pass, redeem, or
1 11 counterfeit a lottery ticket or share, or commits
1 12 theft or attempts to commit theft of a lottery ticket
1 13 or share, is guilty of a class "D" felony."
1 14 #2. Title page, line 1, by inserting after the
1 15 word "lottery" the following: "and providing a
1 16 penalty".
1 17 #3. By renumbering as necessary.
