  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-8492, to Senate File 530, as
  1  2 amended, passed, and reprinted by the Senate, as
  1  3 follows:
  1  4    #1.  Page 6, by inserting after line 37 the
  1  5 following:
  1  6    "Sec. ___.  Section 34A.15, subsection 2, Code
  1  7 1997, is amended by striking the subsection and
  1  8 inserting in lieu thereof the following:
  1  9    2.  The council shall advise and make
  1 10 recommendations to the administrator regarding the
  1 11 implementation of this chapter.  Such advice and
  1 12 recommendations shall be provided on issues at the
  1 13 request of the administrator or as deemed necessary by
  1 14 the council."
  1 15    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
