1 2 #1. Page 2, by inserting after line 32 the
1 3 following:
1 4 "Sec. ___. CHILD HEALTH CARE PROGRAM. There is
1 5 appropriated from the general fund of the state to the
1 6 department of human services for the fiscal year
1 7 beginning July 1, 1997, and ending June 30, 1998, the
1 8 following amount, or so much thereof as is necessary,
1 9 to be used for the purpose designated:
1 10 For outreach and other costs for implementation of
1 11 the child health care program, including salaries,
1 12 support, maintenance, miscellaneous purposes, and for
1 13 not more than the following full-time equivalent
1 14 positions:
1 15 .................................................. $ 500,000
1 16 ............................................... FTEs 6.00
1 17 Notwithstanding section 8.33, moneys appropriated
1 18 in this section which remain unexpended or unobligated
1 19 at the close of the fiscal year shall not revert to
1 20 the general fund of the state but shall remain
1 21 available for expenditure for the purpose designated
1 22 in the succeeding fiscal year."
