  1  1    Amend House File 2395 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 2, line 2, by inserting after the word
  1  3 "prisoners" the following:  "provided the lease
  1  4 negotiated with the private corporation shall be in
  1  5 accordance with section 904.809 and, if the property
  1  6 is totally or partially exempt from property taxation,
  1  7 the lease shall require the private corporation to
  1  8 make payments in lieu of property taxes to the
  1  9 applicable local government in an amount equal to the
  1 10 amount of tax moneys that would be collected for that
  1 11 local government if the property was not exempt".
