  1  1    Amend House File 2395 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 3, by inserting after line 25 the
  1  3 following:
  1  4    "Sec. ___.  Section 904.805, Code 1997, is amended
  1  5 by adding the following new unnumbered paragraph:
  1  6    NEW UNNUMBERED PARAGRAPH.  If the state director is
  1  7 the designee of the director of the Iowa department of
  1  8 corrections, the appointment of the state director is
  1  9 subject to confirmation by the senate."
  1 10    #2.  By renumbering as necessary.
