1 10 Sec. ___. Section 261.2, Code 1997, is amended by
1 11 adding the following new subsection:
1 12 NEW SUBSECTION. 15. Adopt rules specifying that
1 13 an individual is ineligible to receive a state-
1 14 sponsored loan, grant, or scholarship if the
1 15 individual is between the ages of eighteen and twenty-
1 16 six years of age and has not registered with the
1 17 federal selective service system in accordance with
1 18 the federal Military Selective Service Act, 50 U.S.C.
1 19 App. 453, as amended.""
