  1  1    Amend House File 724 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 1, line 18, by inserting after the word
  1  3 "purpose." the following:  "If there is an area in the
  1  4 city which is a designated urban enterprise community
  1  5 under Title XIII of the federal Omnibus Budget
  1  6 Reconciliation Act of 1993, such area shall be
  1  7 designated by the state an economic development
  1  8 enterprise zone.  The area within a designated urban
  1  9 enterprise community shall not be included for the
  1 10 purpose of determining the area limitation pursuant to
  1 11 subsection 3."
  1 12    #2.  Page 4, line 19, by inserting after the words
  1 13 "four members." the following:  "If the enterprise
  1 14 zone consists of a designated urban enterprise
  1 15 community under Title XIII of the federal Omnibus
  1 16 Budget Reconciliation Act of 1993, one of the
  1 17 remaining four members shall be a representative of
  1 18 that zone."
