  1  1    Amend House File 724 as follows:
  1  2    #1.  Page 2, line 18, by inserting after the word
  1  3 "years." the following:  "For an existing business in
  1  4 counties with a population of ten thousand or less,
  1  5 the commission may adopt a provision that allows the
  1  6 business to create at least five initial jobs with the
  1  7 additional jobs to be added in five years.  The
  1  8 business shall include in its strategic plan the
  1  9 timeline for job creation.  If the existing business
  1 10 fails to meet the ten-job creation requirement within
  1 11 the five-year period all incentives or assistance will
  1 12 cease immediately."
