  1  1    Amend the amendment, H-1614, to House File 715 as

  1  3    #1.  Page 1, line 18, by inserting after the word
  1  4 "law." the following:  "The department shall report to
  1  5 the general assembly on or before January 12, 1998,
  1  6 regarding the monitoring, assessments, and
  1  7 consideration of the effects of the federal law."
