  1  1    Amend Senate File 129, as passed by the Senate, as
  1  2 follows:
  1  3    #1.  Page 2, by inserting after line 14 the
  1  4 following:
  1  5    "Sec. ___.  Section 422.9, subsection 2, Code 1997,
  1  6 is amended by adding the following new paragraph:
  1  7    NEW PARAGRAPH.  f.  Add the amount of the mortgage
  1  8 interest credit allowable for the tax year under
  1  9 section 25 of the Internal Revenue Code to the extent
  1 10 the credit decreased the amount of interest deductible
  1 11 under section 163(g) of the Internal Revenue Code."
