                                BUSINESS PENDING

    House File 2387

         The Senate resumed consideration of House File 2387 and division
    S-5822A.

         Senator Gronstal moved the adoption of division S-5822A, which
    motion lost by a voice vote.

         Senator Gronstal moved the adoption of division S-5822B.

         A non record roll call was requested.

         The ayes were 24, nays 25.

         Division S-5822B lost.

         Senator Lind called for a further division of division S-5822C:

         Page 2, lines 19-44 as division S-5822D.

         Senator Gronstal moved the adoption of division S-5822C, which
    motion prevailed by a voice vote.

         Senator Lind raised the point of order that division S-5822D was
    not germane to the bill.

         The Chair ruled the point not well taken and division S-5822D in
    order.

         Senator Gronstal asked and received unanimous consent that action
    on division S-5822D and House File 2387 be deferred.



                                     RECESS

         On motion of Senator Horn, the Senate recessed at 12:16 p.m., until
    3:00 p.m.
