                                    PETITIONS

         The following petitions were presented and placed on file by:

         Senator Drake from 96 residents of Johnson County favoring
    legislation protecting and strengthening Iowas laws on energy efficiency
    and conservation.

         Senator Dvorsky from 99 residents of Johnson, Linn and Iowa
    Counties opposing legislation allowing boats with engines larger than 10
    horsepower on Lake McBride.
