         Senator Neuhauser moved to reconsider the vote by which House File
    2444 went to its last reading, which motion prevailed by a voice vote.

    House File 2444

         On motion of Senator Neuhauser, House File 2444, a bill for an act
    relating to energy conservation including making appropriations of
    petroleum overcharge funds, was taken up for reconsideration.

         Senator Neuhauser asked and received unanimous consent that action
    on House File 2444 be deferred.

         Senator Neuhauser moved to reconsider the previous substitution of
    House File 2444 for Senate File 2462, which motion prevailed by a voice
    vote.

    Senate File 2462

         On motion of Senator Neuhauser, Senate File 2462, a bill for an act
    relating to energy conservation including making appropriations of
    petroleum overcharge funds, was taken up for consideration.

         Senator Neuhauser offered amendment S-5647 filed by her to page 1
    of the bill and moved its adoption.

         Amendment S-5647 was adopted by a voice vote.

         Senator Neuhauser asked and received unanimous consent that House
    File 2444 be substituted for Senate File 2462 as amended.

    House File 2444

         On motion of Senator Neuhauser, House File 2444, a bill for an act
    relating to energy conservation including making appropriations of
    petroleum overcharge funds, was taken up for consideration.

         Senator Neuhauser moved that the bill be read the last time now and
    placed upon its passage, which motion prevailed by a voice vote, and the
    bill was read the last time.
