                    NATURAL RESOURCES, ENVIRONMENT AND ENERGY

         Pursuant to Senate Rule 59, the committee on Natural Resources,
    Environment and Energy assigned to investigate the following governors
    appointments, completed its investigations on March 26, 1996, and
    recommended the appointees be confirmed:

         A.H. Cooper and Eric C. Seuren as members of the Renewable Fuels
    and Coproducts Advisory Committee.

                            PRESENTATION OF VISITORS

         The Chair welcomed the following visitors who were present in the
    Senate gallery:

         Forty-five members of Financial Women International from the States
    of Iowa, Nebraska and Florida. Senator Deluhery.

         Sixty sixth grade students from Nashua-Plainfield, Nashua,
    accompanied by Mr.  Anderson. Senator Borlaug.
