have passed the Senate and the title as amended was agreed to.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS CALENDAR
Senate File 2170
On motion of Senator Boettger, Senate File 2170, a bill for an act
relating to the authority of a medical examiner to release and permit
the removal of a body part in certain instances for the purposes of
making an anatomical gift, placed on the Unfinished Business Calendar on
March 20, 1996, was taken up for consideration.
Senator Boettger offered amendment S-5220 filed by her on March 6,
1996, to strike everything after the enacting clause and to the title
page of the bill and moved its adoption.
Amendment S-5220 was adopted by a voice vote.
The Chair ruled the following amendments to amendment S-5220 out of
order:
S-5059 filed by Senator Boettger on February 14, 1996, to page 2 of
the bill.
S-5146 filed by Senator Boettger on February 28, 1996, to page 2
and the title page of the bill.
Senator Boettger asked and received unanimous consent that House
File 2400 be substituted for Senate File 2170 as amended.
House File 2400
On motion of Senator Boettger, House File 2400, a bill for an act
relating to anatomical gifts including the use of confidential
information and the authority of a medical examiner to release and
permit the removal of a body part in certain instances for the purposes
of making an anatomical gift, was taken up for consideration.
