    House File 400

         On motion of Senator Gronstal, House File 400, a bill for an act
    relating to the joint purchasing of equipment by political subdivisions
    of the state, with report of committee recommending passage, was taken
    up for consideration.

         President Boswell took the chair at 2:36 p.m.

         Senator Gronstal moved that the bill be read the last time now and
    placed upon its passage, which motion prevailed by a voice vote, and the
    bill was read the last time.

         On the question Shall the bill pass? (H.F. 400) the vote was:

         On motion of Senator Boettger, House File 523, a bill for an act
    relating to the establishment of minimum standards for the training of
    telecommunicators, with report of committee recommending passage, was
    taken up for consideration.
