AFTERNOON SESSION
The Senate reconvened at 2:45 p.m., President Boswell presiding.
QUORUM CALL
Senator Horn requested a non record roll call to determine that a
quorum was present.
The vote revealed 41 present, 9 absent and a quorum present.
HOUSE MESSAGES RECEIVED AND CONSIDERED
The following messages were received from the Chief Clerk of the
House:
MR. PRESIDENT: I am directed to inform your honorable body that the
House has on March 20, 1996, passed the following bill in which the
concurrence of the House was asked:
Senate File 2087, a bill for an act providing that appeal of
certain sentences be by writ of certiorari.
ALSO: That the House has on March 20, 1996, passed the following
bills in which the concurrence of the Senate is asked:
House File 308, a bill for an act relating to the election of
workers compensation coverage by a limited liability company member.
This bill was read first time and passed on file.
House File 455, a bill for an act relating to the filing of
complaints with the board of educational examiners.
This bill was read first time and passed on file.
House File 2191, a bill for an act relating to the expansion of
the membership of the advisory council to the director of human services
regarding medical assistance.
This bill was read first time and passed on file.
