CONSIDERATION OF BILL (Regular Calendar) Senate File 2221 On motion of Senator Fink, Senate File 2221, a bill for an act relating to alternate energy production and purchasing requirements, and providing an applicability provision and an effective date, with report of committee on Natural Resources, Environment and Energy recommending amendment and passage on February 29, 1996, and report of committee on Ways and Means recommending passage on March 14, 1996, was taken up for consideration. Senator Fink offered amendment S-5151 filed by the committee on Natural Resources, Environment and Energy on February 29, 1996, to strike everything after the enacting clause of the bill. Senator Fink offered amendment S-5396 filed by him from the floor to amendment S-5151. Senator Fink asked and received unanimous consent that action on amendments S-5151 and S-5396 to S-5151 and Senate File 2221 be deferred.
