         Pursuant to Senate Rule 59, the committee on Education assigned to
    investigate the following governors appointments, completed its
    investigations on March 12, 1996, and recommended the appointees be
    confirmed:

         Frederick (Ted) M. Stilwill as Director of the Department of
    Education.

         Thomas E. Davis and Frederick (Ted) M. Stilwill as members of the
    First in the Nation in Education Foundation Governing Board.

         Clark A. Yeager as a member of the School Budget Review Committee.

         Gregory A. Forristall as a member of the State Board of Education.

                                 HUMAN RESOURCES

         Pursuant to Senate Rule 59, the committee on Human Resources
    assigned to investigate the appointment of Rebecca S. Beach as a member
    of the Board of Behavioral Science Examiners, completed its
    investigation on March 7, 1996, and recommended the appointee be
    confirmed.

         ALSO:
         Pursuant to Senate Rule 59, the committee on Human Resources
    assigned to investigate the following governors appointments, completed
    its investigations on March 12, 1996, and recommended the appointees be
    confirmed:

         Dorothy A. Anderson as a member of the Board of Behavioral Science
    Examiners.

         Joan L. Skogstrom as a member of the Board of Physician Assistant
    Examiners.

         Paul R. Walther as a member of the Commission on the Status of
    Women.

         Scott M. Harrison and Bonnie J. Steege as members of the Community
    Health Management Information System.

         Margaret P. Guhin as a member of the Council on Human Services.
