         On motion of Senator Gronstal, House File 247, a bill for  an act
    relating to the regulation of insurance, including the authority of the
    insurance division to regulate certain policies and contracts and
    parties to such policies and contracts, establishing fees, and providing
    civil penalties, with reports of committees on Commerce and Ways and
    Means recommending amendment and passage, and placed on the Unfinished
    Business Calendar on April 13, 1995, was taken up for consideration.

         Senator Gronstal offered amendment S-3366 filed by the committee on
    Commerce on April 6, 1995, to pages 5, 25, 27 and the title page of the
    bill and moved its adoption.

         Amendment S-3366 was adopted by a voice vote.

         Senator Gronstal offered amendment S-3405 filed by the committee on
    Ways and Means on April 12, 1995, to pages 16, 24, 25 and the title page
    of the bill and moved its adoption.

         Amendment S-3405 was adopted by a voice vote.

         Senator Gronstal offered amendment S-3413 filed by him on April 13,
    1995, to pages 1 and 8 of the bill.

         Senator Iverson offered amendment S-3573 filed by him on April 25,
    1995, to amendment S-3413 and moved its adoption.

         Amendment S-3573 was adopted by a voice vote.

         Senator Gronstal moved the adoption of amendment S-3413 as amended.

         A non record roll call was requested.
