         Senator Flynn asked and received unanimous consent that action  on
    amendment S-3499 be deferred.

         Senator McLaren offered amendment S-3511 filed by him on April 20,
    1995, to page 4 of the bill and moved its adoption.

         Amendment S-3511 was adopted by a voice vote.

         Senator Hansen withdrew amendment S-3495 filed by him on April 19,
    1995, to page 4 of the bill.

         Senator Halvorson offered amendment S-3550 filed by him from the
    floor to page 3 of the bill and moved its adoption.

         Amendment S-3550 lost by a voice vote.

         The Senate resumed consideration of amendment S-3499 by Senators
    Flynn and Dvorsky to pages 1-5 of the bill, previously deferred.

         Senator Flynn called for a division of amendment S-3499: lines 3
    and 4 as division S-3499A and lines 5-23 as division S-3499B.

         Senator Flynn asked and received unanimous consent that action on
    division S-3499A be deferred.

         Senator Flynn moved the adoption of division S-3499B, which motion
    prevailed by a voice vote.

         (Action on House File 482 was deferred, division S-3499A pending).



                          UNFINISHED BUSINESS CALENDAR

    House File 203

         On motion of Senator Giannetto, House File 203, a bill for an act
    relating to the location of the office of the commission of veterans
    affairs, and providing an effective date, with report of committee
    recommending passage, and placed on the Unfinished Business Calendar on
    April 13, 1995, was taken up for consideration.

         Senator Giannetto offered amendment S-3481 filed by him on April
    18, 1995, to page 1 of the bill.
