                           HOUSE AMENDMENT CONSIDERED

    Senate Concurrent Resolution 11

         Senator Gettings called up for consideration Senate Concurrent
    Resolution 11, a concurrent resolution declaring support for Amtrak,
    amended by the House, and moved that the Senate concur in House
    amendment S-3538 filed April 20, 1995.

         The motion prevailed by a voice vote and the Senate concurred in
    the House amendment.

         Senator Gettings moved that the resolution as amended by the House
    and concurred in by the Senate be adopted, which motion prevailed by a
    voice vote.



                              CONSIDERATION OF BILL

    Senate File 469

         On motion of Senator Neuhauser, Senate File 469, a bill for an act
    relating to the definition of business income for purposes of the state
    corporate income tax and providing effective and applicability date
    provisions, was taken up for consideration.

         Senator Neuhauser asked and received unanimous consent that House
    File 548 be substituted for Senate File 469.

    House File 548

         On motion of Senator Neuhauser, House File 548, a bill for an act
    relating to the definition of business income for purposes of the state
    corporate income tax and providing effective and applicability date
    provisions, was taken up for consideration.

         Senator Rife asked and received unanimous consent that action  on
    House File 548 be deferred.

         Senator McKean called up for consideration Senate File 358, a bill
