HOUSE MESSAGES RECEIVED AND CONSIDERED
The following messages were received from the Chief Clerk of the
House:
MR. PRESIDENT: I am directed to inform your honorable body that the
House has on April 17, passed the following bills in which the
concurrence of the Senate is asked:
House File 159, a bill for an act relating to the production of
ornamental, flowering, or vegetable plants for purposes of the state
sales tax.
This bill was read first time and passed on file.
House File 550, a bill for an act relating to the exemption of the
statewide notification center and its vendors from sales, services, and
use taxes and providing for the Acts effectiveness and retroactive
applicability.
This bill was read first time and passed on file.
House File 556, a bill for an act relating to the definition of
entities eligible for property tax exemption for construction of
speculative shell buildings.
This bill was read first time and passed on file.
INTRODUCTION OF BILL
Senate File 482, by Horn and Rife, a bill for an act establishing
economic and other penalties for certain criminal activity.
Read first time and assigned to the committee on Judiciary.
LEAVE OF ABSENCE
Leave of absence was granted as follows:
