                          MOTION TO RECONSIDER ADOPTED

                              (Governors Appointee)

         Senator Murphy called up the motion to reconsider the vote by which
    the Senate refused to confirm the appointment of Ted R. Chapler as
    Executive Director of the Iowa Finance Authority, filed by him on April
    11, 1995, found on page 1164 of the Senate Journal, and moved its
    adoption.

         A record roll call was requested.

         On the question Shall the motion to reconsider be adopted?  the
    vote was:
