                     CONFIRMATION OF GOVERNORS APPOINTMENTS

                         (En Bloc Confirmation Calendar)

         In accordance with Senate Rule 59, Senator Horn called up the
    following eligible appointees on the En Bloc Confirmation Calendar:

         Margaret B. Tait as a member of the Board of Dietetic Examiners.

         Mary M. Conrad as a member of the Board of Educational Examiners.

         Merl McFarlane and Stephanie A. Stebens as members of the
    Commission on Community Action Agencies.

         Gregg R. Narber as a member of the Council on Human Services.

         Charese E. Yanney as a member of the Iowa Council on Human
    Investment.

         Myrna L. Langerud as a member of the Mental Health and
    Developmental Disabilities Commission.

         Nadine S. Drennan and Marlys D. Johnson as members of the Wallace
    Technology Transfer Foundation of Iowa.

         Senator Horn moved that the foregoing appointees be confirmed by
    the Senate.
