EIGHTY-EIGHTH CALENDAR DAY FIFTY-THIRD SESSION DAY Senate Chamber Des Moines, Iowa, Thursday, April 6, 1995 The Senate met in regular session at 9:06 a.m., President Boswell presiding. Prayer was offered by the Reverend David Ruhe, pastor of the Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ, Des Moines, Iowa. The Journal of Wednesday, April 5, 1995, was approved. HOUSE MESSAGES RECEIVED AND CONSIDERED The following messages were received from the Chief Clerk of the House: MR. PRESIDENT: I am directed to inform your honorable body that the House has on April 5, 1995, passed the following bills in which the concurrence of the Senate is asked: House File 115, a bill for an act relating to rest areas by permitting refreshments during holiday periods and concerning the promotion of Iowa agricultural products. This bill was read first time and assigned to the committee on Transportation. House File 166, a bill for an act relating to procedures and criteria for recovery by private property owners due to inverse condemnation of real property by state government action and providing an applicability date. This bill was read first time and passed on file. House File 340, a bill for an act providing for the operation of snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles by defining public land.
