    AGRICULTURE

    Final Bill Action: SENATE FILE 448 (LSB 1586), a bill for  an act
    relating to livestock, by providing for the regulation of animal feeding
    operations, providing fees and expenditures, providing a property tax
    credit and an appropriation for livestock and poultry production
    facilities, and providing a penalty.

    Recommendation: WITHOUT RECOMMENDATION.

    Final Vote: Ayes, 13: Priebe, Judge, Bartz, Banks, Black, Boswell,
    Douglas, Fraise, Giannetto, Husak, McLaren, Sorensen and Zieman. Nays,
    none. Absent or not voting, 2: Hedge and Palmer.

    Fiscal Note: NOT REQUIRED UNDER JOINT RULE 17.



    COMMERCE

    Final Bill Action: *SENATE FILE 449 (SSB 283), a bill for  an act
    relating to patient access through managed care plans or indemnity plans
    with limited provider networks to defined physicians.

    Recommendation: APPROVED COMMITTEE BILL.

    Final Vote: Ayes, 9: Deluhery, Hansen, Bisignano,  Gronstal, Husak,
    Lundby, Palmer, Priebe and Redfern. Nays, 4:  Douglas, Flynn, Freeman
    and Gettings. Absent or not voting, 2: Jensen and Hedge.

    Fiscal Note: NOT REQUIRED UNDER JOINT RULE 17.

         *Pursuant to Senate Rule 40, the Legislative Service Bureau
