         Senator Flynn moved that the resolution as amended by the House and
    concurred in by the Senate, be adopted, which motion  prevailed by a
    voice vote and the resolution was adopted.

         Senator Horn asked and received unanimous consent that Senate Files
    174, 202, 223, 141, 236, 247, 271, 272, 258, 274, 285, 286 and 298 be
    immediately messaged to the House.



                              INTRODUCTION OF BILLS

         Senate File 434, by committee on Ethics, a bill for  an act
    relating to state government ethics and lobbying, by changing the
    definitions of lobbyist and client, amending the ethics and campaign
    disclosure board complaint process, amending the two-year ban on
    activities by certain former state officers and employees, and making
    changes related to the filing of personal financial disclosure
    statements.

         Read first time and placed on calendar.

         Senate File 435, by committee on State Government, a bill for  an
    act relating to the exemption of certain dentists and dental hygienists
    from state licensing requirements.

         Read first time and placed on calendar.

         Senate File 436, by committee on Human Resources, a bill for  an
    act relating to the child abuse registry by providing access for
    purposes of certifying sex offender treatment providers, for certain
    publicly operated facilities or programs, and for certain purposes of
    public employers.

         Read first time and placed on calendar.

         Senate File 437, by committee on State Government, a bill for  an
    act relating to the entitlement to benefits and dividends under the Iowa
    public employees retirement system.

         Read first time and placed on calendar.
