Senate File 438, a bill for an act relating to juvenile justice including notice requirements for certain hearings and authorizing associate juvenile judges to perform marriage ceremonies. JOHN F. DWYER, Secretary On motion by Siegrist of Pottawattamie, the House was recessed at 11:35 a.m., until 1:00 p.m. AFTERNOON SESSION The House reconvened at 1:00 p.m., Speaker Corbett in the chair. QUORUM CALL A non-record roll call was requested to determine that a quorum was present. The vote revealed sixty-eight members present, thirty-two absent. MESSAGES FROM THE SENATE The following messages were received from the Senate: Mr. Speaker: I am directed to inform your honorable body that the Senate has on March 23, 1995, passed the following bill in which the concurrence of the House is asked: Senate File 162, a bill for an act eliminating the minimum amount which must be borrowed under a home equity line of credit. Also: That the Senate has on March 23, 1995, passed the following bill in which the concurrence of the House is asked: Senate File 296, a bill for an act relating to juvenile justice including the conditions under which a person under eighteen years of age may consume alcoholic beverages in a home, providing for the automatic waiver of juveniles to adult court in certain circumstances, regarding the notification of schools by juvenile court officers of the taking into custody of a juvenile, and providing that the juvenile court may prohibit a juvenile from driving under certain circumstances. Also: That the Senate has on March 23, 1995, passed the following bill in which the concurrence of the House is asked: Senate File 352, a bill for an act relating to the family investment program and related human services programs by requiring the department of human services to apply for certain federal waivers and providing applicability provisions. Also: That the Senate has on March 23, 1995, passed the following bill in which the concurrence of the House is asked: Senate File 377, a bill for an act relating to the payment of patronage dividends by cooperative associations which are public utilities. Also: That the Senate has on March 23, 1995, passed the following bill in which the concurrence of the House is asked: Senate File 391, a bill for an act relating to the payment of medical costs of temporary prisoners.
